FGJV Training Initiative Powered SBAT Students to Graduation

The SBAT program – School Based Apprenticeship Training, continued its legacy as eight Year 12 students from Monaro High School graduated last month.

Students have learnt skills in logistics, safety and how supply chains work in the real world being paid, while completing their school studies. When asked if the SBAT experience what he thought it was going to be, participant Jonas Aoun said, “Probably better to be honest. It was very good.” Jonas’s favourite part of the program was the people.

Around 30 local high school students have now participated in the Snowy 2.0 SBAT program completing various qualifications. Twelve participants have gone into full-time jobs on the project.
